Energy efficient heating equipment tax credits renewed

Congress has retroactively renewed the tax credit for qualified energy efficient heating equipment purchased in 2011, 2012, and 2013. The amount of the credit is limited to a total of $500.00.  If your plumber or contractor  installed any of the following you may be eligible: water heaters, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central air conditioners, insulation, windows, roofs, or circulating fans used in qualifying furnaces.
